Black Ridge Farm was established in 2015 by owners Brady and Krystal Ambrose. We are located in beautiful sunny southern Utah, 20 minutes south of Cedar City and 30 minutes north of St. George. We are nestled in a valley between the Black Ridge Wilderness Area and the Pine Valley Mountain Wilderness Area. Our home is just a few minutes drive from the Kolob Canyon entrance of Zion National Park, famously known for the “Five Fingers” rock cliff formation.
We have a modest 5 acres with protected well water from the Pine Valley Wilderness Area. We have a seasonal stream that flows out of Zion National Park that brings along with it natural soil fertility relative to the rest of the desert southwest. Our to-do list is extensive but we are slowly adding to the land. In the first year we built our first greenhouse, a tool shed, planted a 25 tree orchard, built a chicken coop, fenced in a 7,500 sq ft grassy area for the chickens and turkeys to free range, and started on irrigation lines.
We are a traditional family with traditional liberty based values. We believe in the golden rule and treat everyone with the respect that we hope to receive.
